For those with a furry friend this guide will help you find the neighborhood that will allow you freedom and the ability to find new canine friends in Port St. Lucie
Top Dog-Friendly neighborhoods in Port St. Lucie
- In the heart of Tradition near the Square, Bedford Park boasts the only dog park in the Tradition area available to residents. The community offers both town home and single family home residences with resales by Hanover Homes and new construction that started in late 2011 by GHO Homes. Use the inquiry tab to discuss.
- As one of the prestigious golf communities, PGA Village, Verano offers luxury properties as new construction with a dog park as one of the neighborhood features. Use the inquiry tab to discuss.
- A large neighborhood of homes without the restrictions of an association; there are no restrictions of what breed you own. Choose your own fence and make the home your own because there is no governing body in Southbend. A sidewalk stretches from the very north to the south of the community along Southbend Blvd offering over 10 miles of pathways. A community park is in the heart of the neighborhood where I frequently see residents walking their dogs and exercising. This is also the neighborhood that I have called home since 2005.

This page is dedicated to our dear Weimaraner, Willa. She passed in 2012 from bone cancer after 11 years of frolicking in Port St. Lucie along trails and beaches. My parents adopted Willa from a puppy mill when she was 7 months old and she was their faithful “stead” (as my mom called her). I know how important finding pet-friendly locations are where you live as my family was always looking to include Willa in our adventures.
